Breathwork Journey with Melissa

Untitled

Saturday, 2nd November, 18:10-19:40, at Zen Yoga Studio

Join me a Trauma-Informed Somatic Breathwork Practitioner as we deep dive into the subconscious mind in this 90-minute Virtual Breathwork Journey.

For the journey, I will introduce the theme of the practice and prompts to prime the subconscious, intentions will be shared and an explanation of the breathing patterns will be given. After a demonstration of the breath and guidance on safety, you’ll lie down comfortably, and be guided through Activating Breathwork, set to curated music to support your journey within. Afterwards, you will experience a visual and guided meditation as you sink deeper into the subconscious mind and take time to integrate the experience. Combining science and the sacred will activate new neural pathways in the brain, allowing for intuition to speak, clarity to rise and connection to be felt.

What is Breathwork?

Simply put, Breathwork is a form of active meditation that deepens your connection to mind, body, and whole being. Through conscious breathing patterns, we can access the subconscious, uncover old thought patterns and beliefs, release heavy emotions, and rewire our nervous system. While many techniques make up Breathwork, Melissa typically focuses on the 3-part circular breath set to music.

What are the benefits of Breathwork?

It’s hard to describe the magic of breathwork; however, some tangible effects, include:

– Body / Physical: Detoxing the body, helping bring in more alkalinity and offsetting acidity, releasing physical pain from the body, assisting in proper digestion, feeding oxygen to the blood, muscles, organs and brain and boosting immunity.

– Mind/Emotions: Releasing stored-up anger, anxiety, depression, and other heavy emotions, gaining clarity of thought, releasing oxytocin and endorphins, and shifting into a deeper level of love and forgiveness for yourself and others.

– Being: Gaining inner wisdom and connecting deeply with your soul’s purpose, being more present and in love with this moment, and surrendering to what is and allowing more abundance, flow and ease.

She went to Bali and studied somatic conscious connected breathwork and a new kind of yoga that combines personal development, somatics, work on energy centres and yoga. She now combines her different skills and teaches online all over the world and in person in London.
