This is a magical moment in your life. Don’t miss it. Yoga can help you to look past the sleeplessness and experience the awe of being a parent.

Whether you were the one to carry and birth the baby, or are simply dealing with a lot less sleep and more anxiety than usual (or both), looking after your body during this special period is vitally important to your well-being, and will reduce the likelihood of you becoming injured or sick.

Gifting yourself a time in the week to mindfully observe your emotional shifts and mental fluctuations at this unique time will also help you to stay in the driving seat and not become overwhelmed.

Play, touch, and communication are not only essential for bonding with your baby, but also for the development of your baby’s brain!

‘It takes a village to raise a child’. Come and meet like-minded parents in your community :)

ABOUT DAISY

picture of me

Daisy is passionate about sharing ancient techniques supported by modern science for overcoming physical and emotional blocks, enhancing creativity, and raising emotional IQ.

Daisy’s wellness journey began when she picked up ‘Full Catastrophe Living’ by Jon Kabat Zin and discovered that her inner life could be fundamentally transformed by meditative practice.

Feeling compelled to share what she’d learnt with others, she trained to teach Mindfulness in schools with .be (2015) and before long was teaching mindfulness techniques to teenagers nationally.

In 2022 she completed her 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training under the incredible tutelage of the teachers at Ashram Om, in Majorca; and following the birth of her son, she continued her education, specialising in pre and postnatal yoga with Yoga Arhanta.

Alongside her life as a writer and academic tutor (Philosophy and Literature), she now teaches Mindfulness and Yoga to a diverse range of clients, including writers groups, young offenders,  athletes (including the British National Boxing Champion)  and most recently babies – the cutest gurus in town!
