WHAT ARE THE CHAKRAS

In the human body there are seven main chakras that run along the length of the body in alignment with the organs and their specific functions. These rotating vortices of subtle matter, act as energy centres and are considered the focal points for the reception and transmission of energies

THE CHAKRAS AND OUR EMOTIONS

Each of the major chakras also carry our emotional insecurities and fears in alignment with specific areas of the body. Each chakra resonates with and is influenced by a different type of emotional stress that can contract the flow of life energy creating a weakness or predisposition to illness in the body. The weakest links in our chakra chain will be the areas where our body will tend to break down and develop problems.

THE CHAKRAS AND SOUND VIBRATIONS

Sound healing works by creating sound frequencies that match and resonate with whatever is needed at that time – especially finding coherence in parts  of the body that may not be functioning as it should be, thus seeking to bring balance and harmony.  That is, anything that is painful and held within and causing the energy to get `stuck’.  The sound frequencies created deeply penetrate into the blocked energy information systems hopefully unravelling and dissolving those areas of dis-harmony or discordance. Every cell within our body is a sound resonator. It has that ability to respond to any other sound outside the body. Imbalanced cells or organs and group of cells, will take in the sounds being produced gradually `entraining’ them back into harmony.   

Resonance is the act of coming into attunement with another frequency that is more powerful than your current state.  When we listen to healing sounds, like the Gong, it is an opportunity to vibrate the whole body and bring it back into a state of harmony through forced resonance.

• Not advisable during pregnancy within the first 3 months and the last 3 months.
• If you have a pre-existing illness or metal implants (pins, screws, pacemaker etc) please ensure you consult your GP before attending. It may otherwise resonate the metal or change the rhythm of the pacemaker.
• Recent surgery – within the last 6 six weeks.
• If you have a history of serious psychological/mental disturbance, please consult your GP before attending.
• Any condition that is sound sensitive can be triggered by sound – tinnitus, Ménière’s disease, epilepsy,

About Joh Johnson

Joh is a Sound healing therapist and author.  Her introduction into the world of Sound healing came after training and qualifying in other therapies including Cognitive Hypnotherapy, EFT, Theta Healing and Massage.  Joh has been a Reiki Master for more than 20 yrs.

Joh uses mostly the Symphonic Gong as it carries the widest range of tones, frequencies and harmonics to facilitate a healing response.  The tones will vibrate the cells of the body, and where there is a lack of `harmony’ or discordance in the body, the Gong will support and bring greater equilibrium to the body.  The experience allows you to become cocooned and wrapped in an envelope of nurturing energy where nothing else exists except the sounds.  In this relaxed, elevated and meditative state, the mental, emotional and physical body becomes superconducting and super-regenerative, where a triggered self-healing response can take place more readily. 

Joh also works with the less familiar Tuning Pipes which are the same as tuning forks but louder and more resonant for longer.  They play single notes that target and interact more specifically with particular energy spots bringing about major positive shifts in the energetic patterns within and surrounding the human body.

The frequencies generated can help shift stuck energy blocks quickly and effectively.  The sound is pure and will quickly move you into a space of lightness as it re-attunes, re-aligns you, moving you into a greater state of harmony.
