Assisted stretching is a therapeutic technique where a trained practitioner helps individuals perform stretches to improve flexibility, range of motion, and overall well-being.

This is a hands-on form of manual therapy by using touch and techniques from a variety of traditional and contemporary disciplines including yoga, massage and osteopathy.

Our 1-1 stretching sessions help unlock your body’s full potential. Improve flexibility, reduce aches and pains, encourage recovery after sports, – we can even help undo a day at the office. All you’ll need to do is breathe and relax!

Beneficial for:

  • Muscular tension reduction and pain relief
  • Exercise recovery including ‘DOMS’
  • Common sports injuries including back pain, hip or shoulder impingement, golf/tennis elbow, knee or ankle strain
  • Neck, shoulder and jaw (TMJ) tension
  • Aid relaxation + complimentary mindfulness practices

£45 | 1 hour session inc. first-time introductory consultation.

  • All treatments are performed fully clothed, so please wear something comfy with plenty of wiggle room (think what you’d wear for your favourite yoga class, or a nice bendy session at the gym).
  • Treatments are carried out in a communal setting at Zen Yoga unique Japanese-inspired dojo studio.

ABOUT THE THERAPISTS

Faith (M.ost) | she/her

Faith smallFaith is a registered osteopath, having trained at the University College of Osteopathy, London. Since graduating she has also trained in medical acupuncture, lymphatic drainage massage and assisted stretching, and continues to work alongside other professionals to develop her skills.

She believes that many common injuries, aches and pains come from tension and tightness, associated with our modern-day (and often) office-based lifestyles, but can be relieved by following your breath and body.

Dean (M.ost) | he/him

dean smallAfter many years of involvement in different movement disciplines, including yoga and circus arts, Dean wanted to continue exploring his enthusiasm for movement in different ways.

He has been working as a manual therapist since achieving his iTEC sports massage certificate in 2019 and completed his Masters in Osteopathy in 2023.
