Class Teacher – Rosie

IMG-20250219-WA0008Rosie discovered yoga 15 years ago as a physical remedy to the demands of a busy London life. Her love of simply moving the body is what inspires her classes, offering mindful sequences that bring you back to yourself.  She completed her 200hr Vinyasa training with Becky Farbstein at Yogarise London.

As a forever student of yoga, her classes are a reflection of her personal practice – teaching yoga as a complete system, far beyond just the physical postures.

At the heart of her teachings lie a deep respect for the philosophical principles that underpin yoga, which help us exist in the world with greater patience, curiosity, and creativity.

Join her for a mindful and embodied practice that nurtures both movement and introspection.

Zen Yoga

PLEASE NOTE: ALL DAIZAN’S CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY ONLINE

Daizan’s classes are currently based on donations. You will find the link just after the “Attendance online” paragraph.

Zen Yoga, in particular, emphasizes three intertwined areas – physical alignment, the flow of energy in the body and awareness (or mindfulness). Mindfulness of the body is one of the four practices taught by the Buddha that lead directly to enlightenment.

Each pose taught in this class brings new parts of the body into focus so that we can become aware of any tightness or restriction. As we bring our awareness to these areas of tension, they immediately start to shift and release.

Zen yoga practice melts away the tightnesses and resistances that prevent us from enjoying the flow of life.

This class is suitable for all levels.
