Zen Yoga with Mark

Please book your class at https://westmoquette.cademy.co.uk/

£13 in-person, £9 online.

Join Mark on Thursday mornings to move, explore, and wake up to your true nature.

Mark teaches Zen Yoga, a form of yoga based in Zen Buddhist philosophy. Zen Yoga emphasises a balance of the yin and yang aspects of practice, awareness/mindfulness, physical alignment, and the flow of energy in the body through the acupuncture meridian lines.

Mark’s classes are all about re-connecting the body and mind in order to find a sense of health, integration, freedom and kindness. Most of the time his classes are based around the seasons, since the Chinese energy system is very connected to the time of year and changing seasons.

This class is suitable for all levels – Beginners welcome.

Available to join in-person and online.

For queries about Mark’s classes, please email mark@markwestmoquette.co.uk.

This state of deep relaxation not only kindly supports our immune system, but also helps to free up mental & emotional tensions & facilitates free expression.

We’ll continue seamlessly through guided meditation & into Sounding practices to open the voice, simple MANTRA (call/response) both in Sanskrit & English, a round or a fun SONG, all accompanied by LIVE guitar ~

“It was a pleasure to take part. I loved the way you structured the experience & the guitar & singing were sublime.” Clare

We all know music lifts our heart & shifts our mood, triggering those FEEL GOOD VIBES! Using our own sung voice is like giving ourselves a soothing inner massage, especially enjoyed at our heart centre, Anahata Chakra  ~ Sounding also helps us to exhale more fully, making space for each new, deeper, revitalising breath. And there’s nothing like joining our voices together to feel connected & joyful!

And a note here, we all have a VOICE – these sessions are about kindly exploring together without judgment ~ and & a safe place to come & let go of any ‘I can’t sing’ inner chatter ~ you are welcome to sit back & listen at any point too.
